Anyone good with Taxes?
« on: April 13, 2011, 11:04:42 AM »

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with paralegalism, but I am in kind of a quandary.

I started at the very beginning of 2010 - Was first paid as a consultant (1099'ed) and then halfway through the year switched over to full-time para (W-4). To make matters worse, while I was on the 1099, I lived in a different state than I do now.

WTH am I supposed to do with all of this ??? I think I am going to get screwed no matter what I do, but just thought I'd bring up this topic/question in case any of ya'll were tax sorcerers.

Hire 50 monkeys with typewriters and 1040 forms.  Wait 2 days.  Pick the one with the most numbers on it and mail that in.  Plead insanity during the inevitable Audit.

I'm thinking I'll just skip taxes this year. Never liked them anyways.

Secede from the union in protest over taxes.  Form your own government.  Then, ask the US for aid money.
